Carleton Formula Electric is a group of multidisciplinary undergraduate students at Carleton University aiming to build an electric FSAE race car for competition at FSAE Michigan in June of 2027. Inclusive of students in all majors at Carleton, CFE has subteams in vehicle dynamics, high voltage electronics, low voltage electronics, structures, cockpit, controls, brakes, and safety; and software. Together this team designs and builds a car on a two-year design cycle, exposing students to all the various aspects of financing, managing, and delivering on a full-scale manufacturing project which industry-level standards and real world consequences.
